How It Works

Three steps, and we do most of them

No forms to chase, no lender queues to sit in. You answer some questions once and we take it from there.

01
Tell us the basics

Four short steps online — what you’re buying, roughly what it costs and a little about you. About two minutes, and no credit check at this stage.

02
We match the lender

We put your profile against 30+ lenders and pick the ones whose credit policy actually fits it, so the application goes in where it has the best chance.

03
Approval and settlement

Most approvals land within 24–48 hours. We handle the paperwork with the lender and the dealer, auction house or private seller, and you get the truck earning.

Why Through Us

What a broker changes

Anyone can fill in a lender’s online form. The value is in knowing which lender to approach before you do.

First truck, without property behind you

The classic knock-back: new ABN, no property, first prime mover. There are lenders who write exactly this deal, usually wanting industry experience and a contract or work history. Approaching the wrong ones first just burns your credit file.

Age and kilometres are policy, not opinion

Every lender has a hard limit on how old the truck can be at the end of the term. That single rule decides more applications than the rate does, and it's the first thing we check against the truck you've found.

Structured around how you get paid

Thirty and sixty-day terms from your customers, seasonal work, a rebuild that takes the truck off the road — deposits, balloons and repayment timing can all be shaped around that instead of a flat monthly figure.

Built for the second and third truck

Growing a fleet is a different conversation from buying one truck. Getting the first facility structured properly is what makes the next one straightforward rather than a fresh argument with a new lender.

Before You Apply

What you’ll need on hand

Nothing is needed to start — this is what the lender will ask for once we’ve matched you to one.

Sole trader or owner-driver
  • ABN, ideally registered 12+ months
  • Driver licence and heavy-vehicle licence class
  • Three to six months of business bank statements
  • The truck details, or the dealer or auction quote
Company or trust
  • ABN and ACN, plus GST registration
  • Director ID and licence
  • Recent BAS lodgements
  • Financials for larger or full-doc deals
Missing something on this list isn’t a dead end. Low-doc options exist for most of these gaps — it changes which lender we approach, not whether the deal can be done. Send us the scenario and we’ll tell you straight.
Questions

Truck Finance, answered

I'm buying my first truck. Will anyone finance me?
Yes, though it's the tightest application in this category. Lenders who write first-time owner-drivers generally want to see time in the industry as an employed driver, a licence for the class, and ideally a contract or letter of intent. A deposit helps considerably.
Do I need property to get approved?
Not always. Property ownership opens more lenders and better pricing, but there are non-property-backed options, particularly with a deposit and a solid work history behind you. It changes the shortlist rather than ending the conversation.
How old a truck can I finance?
Most lenders cap the truck's age at the end of the term rather than at purchase — often around 15 to 20 years, depending on type and how well it's been kept. Tell us the build year early, because it decides which lenders are even in play.
Can I finance a trailer separately?
Yes. Trailers are financed on their own or alongside the prime mover, and it's often cleaner to keep them separate so you can trade or upgrade one without unwinding the other.
Can I buy at auction?
Regularly. The important part is being pre-approved before the sale, because auction houses settle fast and won't wait for an application. Send us the lot details ahead of the day and you'll know your limit before you raise a hand.
Do you charge a fee?
No broker fee to you on standard transport deals. We're paid by the lender that writes the facility, and anything unusual is disclosed to you in writing before you sign.
