Car Finance

Car finance without the dealership markup.

The finance desk at a dealership shops one panel — usually theirs. We shop 30+ lenders against each other and hand you the structure that actually costs you least over the life of the loan.

How It Works

Three steps, and we do most of them

No forms to chase, no lender queues to sit in. You answer some questions once and we take it from there.

01
Tell us the basics

Four short steps online — what you’re buying, roughly what it costs and a little about you. About two minutes, and no credit check at this stage.

02
We match the lender

We put your profile against 30+ lenders and pick the ones whose credit policy actually fits it, so the application goes in where it has the best chance.

03
Approval and settlement

Most approvals land within 24–48 hours. We handle the paperwork with the lender and the seller, and you collect the car.

Why Through Us

What a broker changes

Anyone can fill in a lender’s online form. The value is in knowing which lender to approach before you do.

One credit enquiry, not six

Applying to lenders one at a time leaves a mark on your file every time and makes each subsequent lender more nervous. We assess your profile first and approach the one panel most likely to say yes.

The dealer's rate isn't the only rate

Dealership finance is convenient and priced accordingly. Bring us the quote and we'll tell you honestly whether we can beat it — sometimes we can't, and we'll say so.

Structured for the whole term

Balloon payments, term length and early-payout terms change what a loan really costs. We model those against how long you'll actually keep the car, not just the monthly headline.

Imperfect files are normal here

Self-employed, newly arrived, a couple of late payments or a short time in the job — these are the applications we place every week rather than the ones we hand back.

Before You Apply

What you’ll need on hand

Nothing is needed to start — this is what the lender will ask for once we’ve matched you to one.

If you're employed
  • Driver licence
  • Two recent payslips
  • Three months of bank statements
  • The vehicle details or dealer quote
If you have an ABN
  • ABN, active and registered
  • Driver licence
  • Business bank statements
  • BAS or financials for larger amounts
Missing something on this list isn’t a dead end. Low-doc options exist for most of these gaps — it changes which lender we approach, not whether the deal can be done. Send us the scenario and we’ll tell you straight.
Questions

Car Finance, answered

Will applying affect my credit score?
A formal application does leave a credit enquiry. That's exactly why we do the assessment first and only lodge with the lender most likely to approve you, rather than scattering applications across a panel and leaving six enquiries on your file.
Can I get finance for a private sale?
Yes. Private-sale purchases need a few extra checks — a PPSR search to confirm there's no money owing on the car, and payment made directly to the seller rather than to you — but they're routine. Tell us it's a private sale up front so we start with lenders who handle them well.
What is a balloon payment, and should I have one?
A balloon is a lump sum left owing at the end of the term. It lowers the monthly repayment and raises the total interest you pay, so it suits someone who plans to trade or sell before the term ends, and suits almost nobody who plans to keep the car. We'll show you both versions before you decide.
I'm self-employed. Is that a problem?
No. Depending on how long the ABN has been registered and how the business is structured, there are lenders who assess on bank statements rather than full financials. It changes which lender we approach, not whether the deal can be done.
How much can I borrow?
It depends on your income, existing commitments and the vehicle itself — a late-model car supports more lending than a 15-year-old one. Rather than guess, use the estimator above for a sense of repayments, then send the application through for a real figure.
Do you charge a fee?
No broker fee to you. We're paid a commission by the lender that writes the loan, and that's disclosed to you in writing before you sign anything.
More Finance Options

We finance a lot more than cars

One panel of lenders covers everything from a first car to a fleet of prime movers.
